Hazardous waste management also has a place in the world of urban art. This past weekend, we have actively collaborated with the Gargar Festival de Murals i d’Art Rural<\/strong>, in Penelles (Lleida), providing our technical expertise in the collection and treatment of special\/hazardous waste such as aerosols and contaminated packaging generated during the event.<\/span><\/p>

Art and sustainability, a perfect tandem<\/h2>

Each edition of the Gargar Festival<\/a> transforms Penelles into a large open-air museum, where dozens of artists create spectacular murals using materials such as sprays <\/strong>(containers with pressurized gases or aerosols)<\/span>, paints and solvents<\/strong>. However, many of these products leave residues that, due to their chemical nature, require specific and safe management<\/strong>.<\/p>

In this context, Sircat guarantees the traceability of the waste<\/strong>, from the origin to the final recycling, ensuring an efficient and environmentally friendly process while guaranteeing regulatory compliance and traceability<\/strong> of the process.<\/p>

Circular economy applied to culture<\/h2>

Sircat’s intervention in the Gargar Festival 2025<\/a> is a clear example of how environmental management can and should be integrated into all types of activities, including cultural and artistic ones.
